“Light Squeeze” is an animated neon snake inspired by an inaccurate and mislabeled 18th-century French naturalist illustration of what is likely an Amazon tree boa.

This work is part of Astria Suparak’s Tropicsss series and was created during her Interdisciplinary Artist Residency with University of Wisconsin, Madison’s Division of the Arts.
